Lisa McGriff-Metz

Dr. Lisa McGriff-Metz aka "Dr. Mc" earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) and then received her DDS from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Dr. McGriff-Metz then moved to New York to complete a two-year specialty program in pediatric dentistry at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center where she was also chief resident. She is board certified and has been in private practice since 2004.
 
Dr. Mc and her family relocated to the greater Houston area in 2008. In addition to owning and operating Primarily Kids Pediatric Dentistry, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Dentistry department at the University of Texas at Houston, School of Dentistry and on staff at Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital in the Medical Center.

Currently, she is the president of the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is an active member in the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (TAPD), the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Both at work and in her personal life, Dr. McGriff-Metz is energetic, fun, and caring. She loves being a mom who just also happens to be a dentist! Her excitement is infectious and her enthusiasm contagious. Come in and see!

Amairani Barrientos

Amairani – known by her friends and the Primarily Kids family as "Rani" - is originally from just down the road in Richmond, Texas. She graduated from Hightower High School here in Missouri City, and has been in the dental field since the summer of 2010. She loves working with people, and finds great satisfaction in knowing that what she does contributes to patients' health. She's also grateful to be working with children. The patients at Primarily Kids constantly remind her of her inner child!

Rani is a big fan of the great outdoors, and loves spending time with her young son.

Patsy Moreno

Lisa McGriff-Metz

Patsy Moreno is a native of Fresno, Texas, and a 2001 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She loves working with people, and is especially fond of the supportive and caring work environment at Primarily Kids Pediatric Dentistry.

Patsy, or "Nonnie," is a hit with the kids because of her fun and easy-going personality. She's a bit of a sports fan, and when she's not in the office, you'll likely find her competing on the volleyball court or softball field.

 

Larsony Fisher

Larsony grew up in Houston, and began her career in the dental field in 2009. She's currently attending college to advance her career in dentistry as a Dental Hygienist. She thoroughly enjoys working in a dental office that caters to the needs of children. As a mother of two young girls, she appreciates the joy that little ones bring to life!

When she's not busy at school or at the office, Larsony spends as much time with her family as possible.

 

 

Lainey Steele

Lainey, who hails from Memphis, began her undergraduate studies at Harding University in Arkansas before returning home to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She’s been working in the dental field since 2006, and is currently a Hygienist. She enjoys being able to see her patients’ smiling faces every six months because it allows her to get to know them and hear about what is happening in their lives. She is proud to be at Primarily Kids Pediatric Dentistry where she can help little ones along their path to a healthier life.

Lainey loves spending time with her husband and family, and enjoys hanging out at the beach. She’s also a self-proclaimed shopaholic who will jump at any opportunity to go shopping!

Theron Metz

Theron Metz

Theron is a native of Dallas, Texas. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his responsibilities as Primarily Kids Pediatric Dentistry's Business Manager, he also hangs the pictures, repairs the toilets, and debugs the computers. Most importantly, he loves working with children and providing excellent customer service.

His hobbies include reading, photography, and spending time with his family… or the Dallas Cowboys.
